Allen Iverson's 2009 season had less than a desirable outcome for the 10-time All-Star. Iverson was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Detroit Pistons and was limited to 57 games due to injury. This off-season he has had several potential suitors, but the Clipper's appear to the most serious possibility.
The Clipper's are willing to offer the aging veteran a full mid-level exception on a one year contract and the potential of a Baron Davis and Allen Iverson backcourt has to be intriguing for the veteran.
The Clipper's, whom are best known for the terrible front office moves and unwillingness to spend any change, are attempting to improve a roster that struggled through another terrible season. The additions of Blake Griffin and Allen Iverson could help provide them with some form of legitimacy in the monster Western Conference.
