NASCAR's Mayfield Fails Another Drug Test ...

NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield has yet again tested positive for meth and again he denies the allegations by arguing NASCAR paid his stepmother to lie about his drug use. NASCAR filed documents asking the court to reinstate the ban that suspended him from racing. Accompanying the court documents was an affidavit by Mayfield's stepmother alleging she had witnessed the driver use meth at least 30 times over the past seven years.

Mayfield responded with this ...

"I don't trust anything NASCAR does, anything Dr. David Black does, never have, never will," Mayfield told The Associated Press in a phone interview. Black is the administrator for NASCAR's drug-testing program.

"And they picked the wrong woman to use against me because that (expletive) is trash and has got nothing on me but lies."

"She's tried everything she can do to get money out of me. I won't help her, so I guess she found a way to get money from NASCAR by giving them an affidavit full of lies," he said.

The affidavit alleged specific instances where Mayfield supposedly used meth. The only defense the driver had was calling his stepmother a gold digging whore. It is getting more difficult for the driver to deny his use of drugs due to the two failed drug tests in two months. The ban should be reinstated because someone using meth and driving 200 mph just doesn't seem safe anymore.
