So much for that...

Fedor Emelianenko was supposed to be the one fighter who could come to the UFC and challenge Brock Lesnar. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that it is going to happen anytime soon. Instead, Fedor opted to sign with Strikeforce.

Fedor is considered by most to be the world's number 1 ranked heavyweight contender. Although, I'm sure that Brock Lesnar and Coors Light might disagree with this ranking. Yes, I said Coors Light because Bud Light aint paying me nothing. I think Fedor made a huge mistake here. People were already hyping this fight before Fedor was out of his current contract. I was under the impression that would be a given that Dana White would go out and get him under contract. White already has Lesnar as the heel in the company, what would have been better than to bring in a baby face taht could actually stand a chance against the man-beast Brock Lesnar?

White had been in contract talks with Fedor, but apparently they had fell through. What did White have to say about Fedor's decision?

"Fedor is a f**king joke. He turns down a huge money deal and the oppurtunity to face the best in the world to fight nobody for no money!" Oh well, so much for being able to put up boxing numbers at the next PPV. White should have offered more money, he needed this deal to get done and he let it slip through his fingers.
