That Ole Black Magic...no I am not referring to Ron Jeremy's performance in the 1988 porn flick. I am referring to his lookalike , head coach Stan Van Gundy, and the Orlando Magic's performance in Game 1 of the NBA finals.

Just as Ron Jeremy should be embarrassed for his stint on VH1's "The Surreal Life," Stan Van Gundy and the Orlando Magic should be embarrassed for their lack of effort in game one. According to ESPN, Van Gundy took all the blame for his team's passive effort on the defensive end. To add insult to injury, the Magic were out rebounded 55-41 on the glass. For the Magic to have any shot at an NBA title, they must crank it up on the defensive end.

He Was Once Thought to be a Kentucky Lean...

Kentucky Sports Radio VIA Scout is reporting that 2010, 5-Star shooting guard Will Barton has verbally committed to play for the Memphis Tigers.

Will Barton, whom was believed to be a Kentucky lean, has chosen to play for the Tigers alongside his brother, Antonio(A 3 Star PG). Several Kentucky sites had been reporting that Barton would commit to the Cats in the near future, but Josh Pastner apparently changed the thought process of the Barton's when offering both brothers.

Barton is an excellent coup for Memphis. He is a multi-skilled and extremely talented shooting guard who is considered to be one of the top 10 players in his class. Pastner may be lacking in head coaching experience, but has always been known as a top notch recruiter and is off to a good start in the Fed Ex City.
