Erin Andrews Takes a Ball to the Face ...

Every mans favorite ESPN sideline reporter, Erin Andrews, takes a ball to the face. In last nights Mets-Dodgers game, Alex Cora hit a line drive foul ball that struck Andrews in the chin during the fourth inning. Andrews was sent to the hospital several innings later with a banged and bruised chin. She was released shortly thereafter with minor injuries and will resume sideline duties. I think I speak for all men when I say thank goodness nothing serious happened to that gorgeous face. Sideline reports and interviews wouldn't be the same without her.

Super Lance...





Lance Armstrong continues to show why he is one of the best athletes in the world, regardless of sport. Lance is currently sitting in third place at his return to the Tour De France. The 37-year old Armstrong is only six seconds out of the lead following the seventh stage in the Pyrenees Mountains.

Armstrong, who is making his return from retirement, continues to face doping accusations despite his success of testing cleanly. It's a true testament to an athlete who's being great is not based upon the usage of drugs. Quite the accomplishment in a sport where drug use is as rampant as smoking meth in West Virginia or Missouri. Armstrong has two more days of riding throughout the Pyrenees before a day off on Monday. The Tour De France will finally finish up on July 26th.
