After a short and much needed vacation, I'm back and ready to get back to work. I hope you guys enjoyed all the hard work that Sam put in while I was away...he's doin a damn good job..and you guys need to show your appreciation in the comments section. Now, onto the good stuff.
Many around the Kentucky basketball program were starting to feel the heat of the 2010 recruiting class, with a possible mass exodus coming following the season. Fret no more, Kentucky fans.
Enes Kanter, an absolute monster from Turkey, has apparently given his commitment to Calipari and the Cats, and will be the heir apparent to DeMarcus Cousins in the low post.
Kanter is a monster on the boards and isn't your prototypical Euro big-man. Kanter likes to mix it up download, and while he has the ability to step out and face the basket, he is not afraid of playing with his back to the basket. Many scouts see him as a "can't miss" NBA prospect and he will provide an immediate impact to the Kentucky basketball program.
Kanter does have some question marks regarding his eligibility and may be forced to sit a few games to open the season, due to playing professional for zero money in a Turkish professional league. Time to hear the Calipari haters come to a loud roar.
